			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Part of the fun of making your own beer is being in control. You boil the stuff, you sanitize the whatever, you check the specific gravity&#8230;on and on and on.  But talking to local brewers and some people online, the personalization stopped once the beer was bottled- not a lot of people out there were having fun making labels. Boo, I say! The beer you brew is <em>yours</em>, and that shouldn&#8217;t just be the stuff inside the bottle.  I decided to create a fun label for my first batch of suds.</p>
<p>My first beer is an English Brown Ale, much like Newcastle Brown Ale. Using that as an inspiration, I designed the following:</p>

<p>I didn&#8217;t stray too far away from the original design of the label, but I really made an effort to follow the beer recipe too. So it&#8217;s fitting.</p>
